Look at this picture. Close your eyes. And you can probably hear "Rocky Mountain High" or "Country Roads Take Me Home." Born in 1943, the familiar bespectacled young man began his career in the 1960's with folk songs. Within ten years he rocketed to country fame earning 12 gold and four platinum albums. While his voice and guitar were central to his fame, he also earned accolades with politicians and environmentalists. He lived most of his life in his beloved Colorado until his death at age 53 in a plane crash in 1997.
No identification marks on this semi-glossy poster. 1970's is just a good guess from his youthful appearance. Measures 18-1/2 by 11 with two fold marks, which is perhaps an indication that it might have been a pull-out from a magazine. In good condition. No tears or tape marks.
