Recovering from a stroke in the late 1950's, my mother decided ceramics would be good therapy. As a consequence everyone in the family and neighborhood had spoon holders, salt and pepper shakers, vases and more. This footed vase or planter has been a shelf ornament for many years and could even be used a pencil holder on your desk. It has never had anything in it except dust.
A popular mold for ceramic hobbyists, I have seen it several times in different colors. This one is pastel pink with green ivy leaves outlined down the front and a matching green inner line at the top. Has my name painted on the bottom of the inside and her name on the bottom outside. Measures 4-inches tall; 4-1/4 across the widest part. Footed bottom is 2-1/4 square.
