Published in 1979 just two years after her mother had passed away, it was one of the first "reality" novels and created a firestorm of controversy. Was it true? Or just embellished?
Contains lots of illustrations. This book club edition was released by William Morrow & Co. Inc., New York and lists only a copyright date of 1978. 258 pages with original dust cover. Measures 8-1/2 by 6-inches. Very good condition with only minor wear on the dust cover edges.
