Tiny little basket is marked Occupied Japan which tells us it was made between 1945–1952 when the Allied troops departed and left Japan once again as an independent country. Just under 2-inches wide it is painted with a single tiny flower on the front and gold trim around the edges and across the top of the handle. Near perfect condition with no nicks or chips.
Measures 2-inches tall. Could be used for toothpicks, another addition for your knick knack shelf or a small gift for the collector of Occupied Japan vintage products.
