The Bolero line was introduced by W. S. George Co. in 1933 and its fluted design is easily recognized by china collectors. This gold rimmed plate decorated with a matching pair of pink cherry (or perhaps peach) blossom branches measures 7-1/4" and is signed "W. S. George. Bolero 590D" (or S90D). Bolero pieces were decorated with a number of different decals, including this one with cherry blossoms. Research finds the bread & butter plate at 6-1/4", the dinner plate at 9-1/4" and the luncheon plate at 8 inches. Which presumes this one at 7 1/4" must be a dessert or salad plate. In good condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs and no wear on the gold outer rim.
