A very lovely depression glass centerpiece bowl that most likely was designed to be used with a glass flower frog for a floral bouquet. But with a little imagination could be used for a multitude of other uses including a serving bowl and even flipped upside down. While depression era rolled rim consoles can easily be found, this one has the added pleasure of bright red flowers painted on the underside of the rolled rim. Two on one side, a single flower on the other. Measures 2-1/4" tall, 11" wide and the base is 4-1/4 and weighs nearly 3 pounds. Manufacturer unknown. Minor use scratches and a few bubbles. No chips or nicks.
