Vintage Retro 1950's Big Blue Faux Aquamarine 10K White Gold Ring.

Absolutely colossal stone stands alone, needing no further embellishement....
This mixed (oval / rectangle) cut, faux (glass) stone is meant to imitate the most beautiful shade of aquamarine, which it does quite well. The stone is simply set in four wide prongs into this fabulous gleaming white gold "Retro Modern" setting. Over the top setting features a great open gallery below the stone and wide stepped shoulders, straight out of this glamorous era. Absolutely not for the faint of heart!

Ring mounting measures 1-7/8 inches high (vertically) by 11/16 inch wide (horizontally) and raises up 1/2 inch high off the finger.

Stone measures approximately 22 mm high (vertically) by 17 mm (wide). Comparative in size to a 55 carat stone.

Ring is currently a size 6-3/4 and may be re-sized within reason by a trusted jeweler.

Ring is stamped 10K on the inside of shank or band.

Weight is 13.8 grams.

Very, very, tiny flea bite on stone surface viewed only under high magnification. Vintage condition is otherwise Excellent. Knockout!
