Vintage 1930's Art Deco Two Stone European Cut Diamond 14K White Gold Ring.
This is a beautiful Art Deco piece. This ring is comprised of a white gold dual head mounting.... the two square shape heads were often referred to as miracle or magnifying heads.... because of the scalloped or reflective border that shows off the stones so well. Both heads are set with old cut diamonds, one diamond (slightly larger) is clearly an old European cut diamond. The other diamond (slightly smaller) being just slightly more modern in cut. Both diamonds are bright and scintillating alone but even more beautiful when magnified with the help of their special mountings. The sweeping double design along the shoulders of the mounting is set with small sparkling single cut diamonds.
This charming ring design is often referred to as.... two stone, me and you, bypass, or crossover style ring. Suitable as an engagement, wedding or anniversary ring.
Total diamond weight is approximately .84 carat. The larger center stone is approximately .35 carat (H/SI) the smaller center stone is approximately .25 carat (H/SI2). The twelve small single cut diamond are approximately .02 carat each. Diamonds evaluated in the mountings and are conservative estimates.
Ring is unmarked tested positive for 14K.
Setting measures 3/4 inch wide (horizontally shoulder to shoulder) by 1/2 inch high (vertically).
Ring is currently a size 5 and can be sized by a trusted jeweler.
