Vintage 1940's - 1950's 18K Gold Faceted Red Pear Shape Glass Stone Drop Pierced Earrings.

These are beautiful earrings comprised of 18K gold pierced ear wires, suspending kite shaped drop earrings with scalloped edges. The earrings feature prong set faceted red glass pear shaped stones, embellished with tiny white gold balls just above each stone. Pierced lever back style setting.

Earrings are stamped 750 (18K) on the sides of both ear wires. European in origin most likely Italy.

Earrings weigh 4.3 grams

Earrings measure slightly under 1-1/2 inches long by just under 1/2 inch wide at the widest point.
Red glass stones are approximately 1 carat in size face up.

One of the stones has a small nick on the back. Vintage condition is otherwise excellent. Timeless!
