This fabulous French Gothic architectural fragment dates to the 1400’s. It was possibly the interior section between two, partial c-scrolls and cusps of a circular Gothic cinquefoil. As a rare and extremely old fragment, it can be displayed as a piece of artwork on its own or used as a pedestal for another piece of artwork. This piece was found in the South of France and was salvaged from a building in the town of Castres. This is a rare architectural stone, and we have other pieces that came from the same building.
CONDITION: Very good strong condition as seen in photos. Minor old superficial lines due to weather exposure and age.
