These unusual antique faience bowls or platters have nine formed, segmented scenes within cartouches. They are quite shallow and completely hand painted. The scenes are architectural and pastoral in nature, and they surround central scenes depicting boats on the water. In the background, is a peninsula with homes, buildings and a windmill. Each of the bowls is marked on the bottom. These beautiful antique faience bowls or platters are wonderful accessories for any place in the home.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with some chips to outer rims of bowls and base rims.
