This wonderful pair of hand forged iron gates from France has a variety of different scrolling motifs throughout. All are symmetrical in their placement, with three vertical panels of motifs on each gate. The upper design of scrolls slants upward towards the middle where the two gates meet. Scrolls as motifs were used throughout history and are always very elegant. They also show a high degree of workmanship. These gates could be used in a variety of ways, from entry gates, garden gates, elevator gates, room dividers, headboards and much more.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with minor rusting to iron.
