Code 415-94 Circa 1700 Iron Doors from Austria
This is a stunning pair of small Austrian hand wrought iron doors. Originally, they may have been built into an indoor or outdoor wall, creating built in cabinet or storage area. They feature scrolling c-and s-scrolls over contrasting geometric squares with studs and stylized florets. Hand incised stylized leaves and flowers are on the scrolls throughout both doors. There are door handles, one is a latch and the other is a pull. The backs are plain with the exception of a slot for the latch and a floor and upper door bolt. There is hardware on either side of the doors.
These wonderful iron doors can be used anywhere in the home.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition; old restorations, minor dents to iron.
