Pair of French Gilt Bronze Candelabras
This pair of tall French eleven arm candelabras depicts a male and female cherub holding a vase of flowers from which scrolling acanthus leaves protrude with foliate candle cups and drip pans. The age of these candelabras is most likely early 1900s. The cherubs have the classic flowing drape surrounding them, and they are standing upon a foliate grassy mound which rests upon two c-scroll acanthus leaves. Beneath this is a stepped out group of shells and scrolling acanthus leaves resting upon four feet in a shell motif.
This wonderful pair of gilt bronze candelabras will highlight any area they are placed upon.
