This is a a pair of period Empire, silverplate repousse candlesticks from France. They are composed of a tripod shaft and base on three paw feet from France. They are religious in nature, featuring the Passover Lamb, wheat and berries, and the triangle with rays of light (Holy Trinity). Other ornamentation is decidedly Empire with drapery, gadrooned lobes, acanthus leaves, patterned ground squares, Greek key, various other motifs.

CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor scratches and dents commensurate with age. Minor bend to one candlestick. H=24 1/2, Base= 8 3/8 x 8 3/8
