From France, these graceful, painted, cast iron urns have fabulous lions mask handles with rings in their mouths. At the top are linear ruffles going around the periphery of each urn. Below this are gadrooned lobes and an indention at the waist above a round base. All this rests upon two square platforms. These French cast iron vases have a perfectly worn patina with a partially exposed layer of old green paint and lichen on the rim from years of use. They are in good, strong condition, and can be used inside or out.
