This is an antique hitching post fragment that has been salvaged from an old French stable house/Ecurie. It is a cast metal (zinc?) horse head mounted to a strong oak post. The detail and proportion of the horse is excellent. It shows the muscles, veins, bridle, and bone structure true to form. As a unique decoration, it can be used in a stable, ranch, or any equestrian collection.
CONDITION: Good condition. Post was cut to be removed from stable.
