This antique wooden plaque would make an elegant addition over a mantel or stone fireplace. Hand-carved, circa 1860, the large panel has been stripped and bleached down to its original finish, but still exhibits some of the old paint. The plaque has a central crest surrounded by two dolphins, flowers and leaves. The rustic, antique panel is in excellent condition with fine detailed carvings and a rich finish.
CONDITION: Only minor wear. Recently stripped.
