Produced in France, circa 1900, this cast iron and carrara marble bistro table can comfortably sit two people. The round top is white with gray veining and the tripartite cast iron base has been parcel patinated in a similar color. Each leg is adorned with a roquillard, a curled leaf motif that terminates into pad feet with a volute scroll flair. Above the top of each roquillard is a twisted rope motif that runs upwards to the scrolls that support the top. The bottom of each scroll is encircled by a small loop. A center noix consists of curled acanthus leaves capped by a ballflower. A perfect table when space is an issue, our cast iron and carrara bistro table can be used indoors or outside.

CONDITION: Wear commensurate to age and use with minor losses and fleabites to marble. Buildup to both iron and marble, with an old weld repair to one leg. Probably missing an iron ring that would have been affixed to the base to support the marble. Top simply rests on base, but table is still structurally sound.
