Vintage pair of doll whites for a small china and parian doll with slim body. The hand sewn petticoat is older and believed to be original to the circa 1870's restored parian shoulderhead listed in my shop. It is in good aged condition and very well made with tiny stitching - I am unsure of the material, if it is linen or a very fine cotton. It is for a doll with a slim waist line, only 4 and 3/4 inches at the waistband that was sewn closed at the back waist. The petticoat is 10 inches long, including the lace hem. There are four evenly matched pin tucks. It has not been washed and there are scattered brown spots. The color has ages to a beautiful ivory shade. The drawers are vintage and also hand made but believed to have been made to match the petticoat. The waist is unfinished, simply pleated and sewn onto the doll body at the waist. The three pin tucks are hand sewn and the lace hem is similar but not an exact match to the petticoat. They are 7 inches long and the waist is 6 1/2 inches wide in total. The back seam is hemmed and open. They were also made from older material and are a good color match for the petticoat.
