Petite 10" Japanese Ichimatsu girl doll with original silk kimono. She has a floating torso with working crier/squeaker. She has an adorable face with age soiling. Her nostrils are pierced. She has short black mohair wrapped and glued to her head. The thumb on her right hand is missing and she has chips on her big toes. Notice that she has two RIGHT feet - left is attached with cloth upper leg and the right with paper upper leg. I have found cloth or paper used on original dolls, so it likely one or both of these legs are replaced. The legs are identical and both have the same chipped big toe! I like to think she was made this way! Her maroon silk kimono is trimmed in blue with fading to the blue at the hem line. The silk is frail and hand sewn. There are wear holes in the right sleeve and dark stains on the lower front of the kimono.
