This Victorian aesthetic 7 7/8 " wide exciting plate is transfer printed in brown with under the glaze expert hand painting the 19th century pottery company is known for. The clear and crisp pattern features bristling rose flowers in bud surrounding scrolls and ribbons and geometric circles. One shows a young boy and girl dressed in their finest period dress out for a stroll. The larger one has two exotic birds atop the scroll watching as a young boy and girl gaze at the birds in the sky fluing by. Delightful !!
