AESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFERWARE PLATE

Made in the Staffordshire Region of England

c. 1885

This large Victorian aesthetic 10 1/4 " dinner plate is transfer printed in very dark brown. The printed transfer has a continuous border of fleur-de-lis wrapping around massive Bamboo stalks and flowering Plum branches.

The piece is in EXCELLENT condition, shiny and bright and there are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. Light age toning to the rear and a tiny spider line to the center of the rear only. It is absolutely gorgeous - elegant and well potted, with richly detailed transfers.

Please take a look at the other pieces of Staffordshire / Aesthetic ceramics we have currently listed. Save significantly on shipping costs with multiple purchases.
