This Victorian 19 3/4 " long x 16 “ wide platter is transfer printed in red against a celadon green background. Rare to find Asian inspired Celadon glazed ceramics. Lovely well and tree design to keep juices flowing away from meat. Large enough to handle and bird or roast.
The piece is marked on the underside with an impressed registration mark and trademark that identifies the maker as Doulton, a pottery maker working in the Staffordshire region of England during the 19th century.
Never Used and great shape.
