This very large Victorian 19 " long x 15 5/8 " platter is transfer printed in rich blue.
The pattern features two bands of geometric designs and alternating panels of spring flowers and bright yellow exotic fruit, oranges, grapefruits or lemons. The well of the platter has a central image of a sweet Parrot sitting upon a cherry branch above a sea of wildflowers. A spectacular platter from this Victorian era.
Great Condition. Clean shiny and bright. No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. One kiln stilt mark to the outer rim's end. Ready for an incredible display piece or for use at the next family feast.
