SUPERB LARGE BROWN TRANSFERWARE TUREEN or VEGETABLE
SEAWEED PATTERN

Josiah Wedgwood and Sons
Staffordshire England 1883

This large victorian 11 3/4 " long x 8 " wide serving piece is transfer printed in dark brown.

The pattern features a variety of ocean seaweed drifting around the lid, base and incredible handles. Rarely do we see this pattern especially in this size and pristine condition. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature. Many consider this the very best in Victorian transferware.

Never Used. Condition is excellent. Clean and bright. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
