EXCELLENT BROWN TRANSFERWARE RELISH CONDIMENT PLATTER
SEAWEED PATTERN

Josiah Wedgwood and Sons
Staffordshire England 1883

This rare size Victorian 8 3/4 " long x 6 " wide relish is transfer printed in dark brown. The form is deeper than a platter for holding juicy relishes.

The pattern, a very dark brown and one of the best we have seen, features a variety of large ocean seaweed drifting around the rim and the well of this large platter. A very desirable and collectable pattern. One of the very best patterns.

Condition is Great.
