This Victorian 14 3/4 " platter is transfer printed in blue against a rare to find pale blue background. Designed/attributed to Pierre Mallet, this delightful platter combines the new Aesthetic and Japanese influences of the 19th Century, with a freer more naturalistic design and the use of asymmetry, along with the English love of nature.

Great Condition. Light utensil wear.
