This porcelain Victorian 10 1/4 “ plate was printed using a new patented process involving the use of wax and copper. Seaweed, multi-species of fish and a gold band to the rim. Artist Edward Kennard produced the designs including fish, birds and animals. The piece was made for export to Bailey, Banks and Biddle, a famous jewelry retailer in the 19th century.
Great condition with light utensil wear.
