This early Victorian large 10 3/8 inch plate is transfer printed in dark blue against a bright white background. A rare pattern atributing the design to Leonce Goutard, the famous and prolific French designer and illustrator who produced naturalistic designs for Minton and Wedgwood as well.

Great condition. A small glaze skip near the rim.
