RARE RELISH or CELERY TRAY

KENSINGTON PATTERN

Made in Hanley, a town in the Staffordshire Region of England by Powell, Bishop & Stonier Potteries c. 1882

This large Victorian pickle type server is transfer printed in brown and then masterfully painted under the glaze in a wonderful array of natural colors. The piece has exotic Morning Glory flowers and colorful foliage mixed with a SongBirds and a small woodland bug.

10 3/8 inches long x 6 inches wide

Never Used. The piece in great condition. Clean shiny and bright and there are no chips, no cracks, no hairline and no repairs. It is absolutely gorgeous - elegant and well potted, with richly detailed transfers reflecting the Victorian love of nature.
