This early large and deep Victorian 10 31/4 " dinner soup plates are transfer printed in dark brown. Designed/attributed to Pierre Mallet, these delightful plates combine the new Aesthetic and Japanese influences of the 19th Century, with a freer more naturalistic design and the use of asymmetry, along with the English love of nature.
