Egg separators are small round cups with a slot on one side. A unique and rare example of stoneware cooking tools used in late 19th century kitchens. The egg is broken into the separator. Upon tilting the cup, the egg white will slide through the slot leaving the egg yolk behind.
Lightning egg separators were considered the best available, this one is in outstanding condition.
