This is a wonderful English Victorian stoneware bottle pot that once held strong black stout beer. Stout is a dark beer made using roasted malt or roasted barley, hops, water and yeast. Stouts were traditionally the generic term for the strongest or stoutest porters.
8 1/2 inches tall x 2 3/4 inches wide ~ complete with stopper.
