VERY LARGE AESTHETIC MOVEMENT BROWN TRANSFERWARE POLYCHROME PLATTER
Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire England c. 1884
This large Victorian brown aesthetic 18 3/8 " long x 13 5/8 " wide platter is transfer printed in very dark brown and embellished with orange luster.
The pattern features a fancy pin wheel flower border around a completely covered well with oversized daisy type flowers and three magnificent cartouches. One has a Kingfisher with dinner in its beak. Another has a garden bird flying over a group of flowers an the last has blooming daisies with geometric curls.
The platter is in Excellent condition and ready for use, displays beautifully, Clean, shiny and bright. Never Used and previously only for display.
