This is a wonderful English pot that once prize winning Marmalade. Cooked and reduced to a concentrate, heavenly.
Preservation was a must before refrigeration, these pots were popular as they were able to preserve their foods for consumption at any time of the year and these jam pots fit the bill, a bit of wax and cloth cover on top.
The piece is in great condition. 4 3/4 " tall x 3 1/8 " wide. Normal crazing consistent with age. The piece will make a great addition to any collection of transfer printed advertising wares.
