RARE ENGLISH JUG
SPECKLED EGG BIRDSNEST
possibly Wedgwood Potteries

This jug or pitcher features a garland of purple flowers under the rim with repeating images of a pair of birds at their birds nest.
The pitcher is lavishly hand painted and further enhanced by the application of a lustre rim. Spectacular.
7 1/2 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide
The piece is in great condition, appears to have never been used. Clean shiny and bright and there are no chips, no cracks, no hairline and no repairs. There is a natural firing separation to the inside bottom of the jug.
