THREE VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE BROWN TRANSFERWARE PLATES

These three outstanding plats measure a large 10 3/8 " and are crisply transfer printed in a dark brown with a pearlware glaze.
The plate has a wonderful lightly scalloped rim and a continuous scrolled and netting border. The well of the plate has Little Nell and her Grandfather at Rest by the Way in a magnificent landscape setting, based from A series by Charles Dickens. The height of the Victorian romantic era.
Very good condition with a few light utensil marks. Antique plates are especially beautiful in this rich brown color.
