This is a stunning creamware transfer printed pickle or celery dish. It is very finely molded, measuring 9 1/8 inches long x 5 3/4 inches wide. Great molded handlesIt is transfer printed in a rich chocolate brown or sepia, decorated with a fine botanical engravings of an Exotic Flower.s The rim is decorated with a simple ring of interconnected circles, a fantastic example of Aesthetic movement Victorian love of naturalistic beauty.

The underside of bears the impressed mark of Wedgwood and dates to 1878 from the Staffordshire region of England.

Never Used. The platter is in Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs.
