This early Victorian aesthetic 9 " plate is transfer printed in dark flowing blue.
The pattern features birds, of course. A bird in flight and an oversized songbird perched upon a flowering branch. Two cartouches of mountainous landscapes with a sailboats upon a lake. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature. A quite rare pattern and rarely seen in this flowing blue.
Condition is excellent. Clean and bright with light utensil wear. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
