POLYCHROME SYRUP POT

This very unusual shaped Victorian 7 3/4 " tall x 4 1/4 " wide, excluding applied handle, covered syrup server is transfer printed in dark brown with underglaze painting in a palette of bright colors . The piece has a spectacular working pewter lid.
The printed transfer features branches of bright pink Cherry blossoms. Rare shape and lovely design.
The piece is in Excellent Condition, shiny and bright and there are no chips, no cracks, no hairline and no repairs. Typical heavy age crazing.
