EARLY BLUE TRANSFERWARE POT LID
This early version Victorian 3 3/8 " wide x 1 5/8 " tall covered ceramic earthenware container was made during Victorian times containing Borax. Borax has many uses from softening water to use in gold mining. A very attractive pot with fabulous transfers around the pot as well as inside the lid.
Rare to find in any condition. Two tiny brown spots to the inside as well as a glaze slip. Basically in outstanding condition.
