This Victorian aesthetic 9 3/4 "handled cake plate is transfer printed in dark brown.

The clear and crisp pattern features brown lilac blossoms gracing one side of the plate. The opposite has a cartouche of a gardening maiden dreaming of almost anything other than the chores awaiting her. A charming piece of victorian art. The plate has impressed handles along the rim.

Condition is EXCELLENT. Clean and bright. No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Three glaze flakes to the rear of the points.
