This is one of the most unique pieces I have ever seen! It is a silver tone fur clip chatelaine adorned with five different, highly detailed swords, each suspended from a link of the chatelaine. This is also a large piece and measures 5 inches wide; the biggest sword is 3 inches tall. It is not signed but I suspect it was inspired by Alexander Korda's 1940 movie, "The Thief of Bagdad." The Rice-Weiner & Company of Providence, RI, was granted the exclusive right to reproduce jewelry of all kinds based on and inspired by Alexander Korda's 1940 movie "The Thief of Bagdad." The series included bracelets, brooches, necklaces, rings, and earrings that featured characters and period props from the film. This is is as detailed as any of the Rice-Weiner pieces; with a signature it would be priced significantly higher than it is. Condition is fine with no issues. Fabulous!
