A most unusual brooch! This mound of slightly tinted Lucite measures almost an inch thick and just shy of 2 inches in diameter. It has a heat-set pin back and deep, intricate reverse carving that results in an exquisitely painted rose with green petals. This is very well done and is unlike anything I have ever seen. If you collect old plastic jewelry, you will love this. Condition is excellent. Probably from the late 1930's or early 1940's.
