What a fantastic set from Kramer of New York! This lovely parure has it all; demure necklace, dramatic bracelet, and matching clip style earrings. The jet black rhinestones are set off beautifully by crystal clear rhinestones; the setting is shiny rhodium which is perfect and unblemished.
Only the bracelet is signed on an oval cartouche, as shown. The necklace measures 15 1/2 inches; the bracelet is a real knockout at 7 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches wide; and the earrings are 1 1/4 inches long by 3/4 inches wide. Don't let this one get away! 'Kramer' was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943; he was later joined by his brothers Morris and Harry. The company has several signatures including this one (Kramer of New York), also KRAMER Sterling, Made in Austria & Kramer, and Dior by Kramer. The company was in business for 37 years and ceased operations in 1980. While they are known primarily for exquisite rhinestone jewelry, they also made more sporty thermoplastic pieces and some enameled jewelry.
