Triple strand imitation Tahitian pearl necklace is signed by Kenneth Lane and features a pave' rhinestone studded push-in clasp with floral motif. The rhinestones are in a japanned setting and are done is shades of fuchsia and sapphire blue. The necklace is signed on the back of the clasp. The pearls are quite large and each measures 1/2 inch wide. I show the necklace as torsade style but it can be worn either this way or longer, with the strands lying flat against the neck. This is a heavy, dimensional piece reflecting the quality one expects in Mr. Lane's jewelry. Note, the clasp can be worn either in the front or in the back, depending on your preference. The earrings can be seen on page 153 of the book entitled "Kenneth Jay Lane Fabulous" by Nancy Schiffer (2007).
Overall length is 18 inches; the flower clasp measures 3 1/2 inches wide. There is a scratch on the nacre of one of the pearls; this is not very noticeable but can be seen under magnification.
