Lovely shell pendant features a shiny, gold plated finish. This is a simple yet striking design. It measures 2 inches from top to bottom, including the bale, and 1 3/4 inches at its widest. It is signed on the reverse as shown Mimi di N and dated 1972. Condition is fine with no issues. FYI, this listing is just for the pendant. Ms. di Niscemi was a graduate of the Philadelphia Museum School and School of Applied Arts in Paris. She set up a company in 1962 in NYC where she produced jewelry as well as an archive of designs. In 1968 she won one of 35 prizes offered by the Great Designers in Costume Jewelry Awards sponsored by D. Swarovski. Her jewelry was made between 1962-1970's.
