Spectacular 1940's Art Deco inspired brooch features a sleek gazelle caught mid-leap. This is a huge brooch measuring 4 inches wide. It has a gold plated finish and is accented with crystal clear chatons and a red chaton eye. It is quite dimensional and detailed as seen in the photos; it is also quite heavy. It is not signed.
The condition is fine with some wear noted to the gold tone finish, but this actually gives it a nice patina. This brooch is almost identical to a Reja' design which was done in sterling silver; the Reja' brooch had rhinestones along the lower body as well as the antlers.
