Silver-tone and rhinestone royal chatelaine includes a heart with arrow and flower on one pin and on the other, a crown with cross and sword. Each pin measures about 2 1/4 inches wide; the one with dangling cross and sword measures 2 1/2 inches long. The chains that connects the pins measure 6 1/2 inches long. Each brooch features a large clasp with roll over closure. This is unsigned and condition is fine with a bit of wear noted to the finish on one chain. Chatelaines such as this were popular in the late 1940's and early 1950's. They were worn in all sorts of interesting ways, including near the neckline as a normal brooch, but also on hats, belts, and coats.
